Cask No. 85.76 11 – 15 years With water there's pastisThe neat nose suggested cherry distillate, then lanolin, salted milk chocolate, dry roasted peanuts and hessian. Beyond that we also found some wonderfully damp earthy tones, raisins and hints of walnut and rosewater. Reduction brought camphor, pure salty old bodega funk, dried sage, mint tea and dark fruits stewed in armagnac. When neat, the palate was a tad woody up front, giving way to cinnamon sugar, pomegranate and date molasses, and rosehip tea,
