分厚い無垢の木材で作られた木台です。元々は書台でしょうか。あまり類似するものを見ないのですが、李朝のものとして、仕入れました。天板はよく使い込まれ、じっとりと艶があり、雰囲気があります。稽古のお茶や、2~3人程度の茶台におすすめです。

筒形の立ち上がりに薄いリム、胴には櫛で掻いた後が見られます。

薄作りに、灰色に硬く焼きしまった肌。

茶席の花入として使い込まれたもので、中に水漏れ止めが施されていますが、 もう随分古くなっており、水を入れると24時間程度たつと、少しじっとりと滲んできます。 中に漆を塗り直すか、落としを置いてお使いください。
