It is called a shoe because it fits nicely in the sewer line like a shoe. This is a substantial guide that rests at the bottom of the manhole support by its back brace. You feed your hose through this lower brace which helps you to lower your hose and nozzle together down to the manhole entrance. This guide has 4 nylon rollers that are 3 wide and 5 in diameter.
