Minted at the Philadelphia mint, noted by the "Small Letters" in the legends. Scarce error variety (not overdate) were date was punched 1824 and then corrected by punching a "9" over the "8". Certified by NCC to AU 58, with some original luster. 37mm, 25g, 50% silver.
