The artist, Felix Polak (1874 1951) has captured this leafy view with a skilful impressionistic touch. Perhaps he sat on the grassy bank to the left while sketching out his studies. We particularly love the way that the foliage is lurching over the wall as if the property is lost in time. Polak was born in Paris and studied under M
