Its signed R F Henderson in the lower left and probably after an older work. Dressed in a three piece suit with a full length coat in dark green, he clutches the reins of his trusted mare. She stands proudly in a stable environment, juxtaposed with the mischievous terrier, who is seemingly desperate for attention.
