19th Century Bronze Cockatoo On Branch Furniture 1922' to the bottom rightA delightful bronze of a cockatoo on a branch, circa. late 19th century. The bronze is crisply cast and of fantastic form. Remnants of gilding to the parrot and paint to the branches. Two holes to the underside of the branches indicate it may have once had a base, or been part of a larger piece such as a desk compendium; nonetheless it stands alone very well. A charming thing.
