Believed to be from a marine environment. This rugged industrial lamp was designed to withstand the harshest conditions (claims to be flameproof!), it's weight and construction reflect that! Every part is over engineered, from the indestructible metal parts to the thick glass bulb protector. The lamp has been sympathetically restored to preserve all of it's
