1723 PCGS AU Colonial 1/2 Penny Wood's Hibernia George I Copper Coin (26071704C) straits settlements Environmental DamageAlmost Uncirculated Wood's Hibernia copper 1 2 penny coin. William Wood's coinage struck in the name Great Britain's King George I for use in Ireland. Boycotted and recalled from use in Ireland and exported to Colonial America where they circulated alongside Wood's Rosa Americana coins. Nice high grade example with great portrait and surfaces, usually found in low grade and corroded. Certified by PCGS to AU Detail Cleaned (not distracting).
