It is applied with a kind of forest green glaze which changes with different colours depending on the temperature in the kiln. The surface is characterised by the interplay between glossy grass green with outstanding cracks and matte dark green with outline of mountain, providing the significantly textural and visual contrast. The gaiwan is stunning at
