Designed as a lightweight summer cape to be worn over an evening gown, the work in this is extraordinary. Entirely handmade we think this came from one of the high end costumiers in Paris at this time such as Maison Worth or Callot Soeurs The piece has an oriental Japanese influence which was popular at this time. it has appliqus and embroidered flowers in soft mauves and taupes with net
