Wonderful patina and aging to the leather, in original condition with horse hair underneath. I've been told it's probably French and circa 1900. Please check the photos for obvious wear and tear. I think a spring has probably become untied on each arm, hence the slight bulge, which doesn't affect the comfort. All very solid. I've
