Early 19th century Georgian elm carver or open armchair. Shelves on lovely-shaped square legsEarly 1800s, or earlier, mostly elm, Georgian open armchair or carver with lift out rush seat. Generously proportioned, wonderfully shaped arms, with a well figured grain, good colour and patina. Excellent condition, just the expected age related wear and tear. Sturdy joints, no movement. Seat has lost a couple of lengths of rush but still good and useable, although probably best to use a cushion for protection. Probably later (but still old) blocks
