Peter Josef Strahn (1904-1997) enjoyed capturing these everyday rural moments and this is typical of his style

Note how the heavy clouds on the right are offset by the trees that lean to our left

Foss loved this area and he’s captured the effects of light so beautifully as it illuminates the lake and three grazing sheep
