Partridge Pair Walking sticks one of the greatest silversmithsChasing is one of the oldest surviving silversmithing skills still practised today, where the silversmith uses special tools to move the silver, thus creating a 3 dimensional design. This skill is used to craft the Partridge pair, which is magnificently hand chased from beak to tail tip. As some details aren't captured during casting, a hand craftsman hand chases all the details of the feathers to reemphasise them to bring out its life like features.
