Hayward Face Plate, Dark Gray | SPX1084LDGR Ocean Blue If your old handle isWhat This Part Is Used For The SPX1084LDGR face plate mounts to compatible Hayward skimmer bodies at the pool wall. It secures the liner and provides a finished dark gray appearance at the skimmer opening. Why This Part Matters A damaged face plate can compromise gasket compression and lead to leaks at the wall. That often results in water loss and liner movement over time. Replacing the face plate restores proper sealing and maintains a clean finish.
