Ojai Blue & Green Woven Coverlet Bedspread red rug-like feelOjai layers hand painted horizontal bands of varying width and saturation, some solid, some scratchy and dry brushed, broken up by short blocks of color where a row of small squares interrupts the stripe. The uneven, textured brushwork gives every band its own character, so the pattern feels loose and hand done rather than mechanically repeated. Occasional bursts of contrasting color punctuate the rhythm, keeping the eye moving across the surface.
