CGC Tennis Family Mixed Doubles Winner's Trophy, 1936 It is ready to wearThis is a charming little antique trophy awarded to M. H. Bemis and F. G. Bemis in 1936, winners of the tennis family mixed doubles at CGC, which may stand for Castine Golf Club, a private club in Maine. The trophy is a small pewter trinket box with a hinged lid that is engraved on top. The bottom is marked with a hallmark (see pictures) and says "Trade Mark, Pewter by Poole, Taunton, Mass, CB3." The box has a nice patina and is in good condition.
