With the huge amount of thinning the archetype already has I have not found it to be a problem at all playing seemingly heavy land counts in green ramp decks

Its interesting to see that most cards with affinity are artifacts that dont have colored mana in their mana costs, which means that you can effectively cast a spell with affinity for free
