At some point I was digging pretty deep, and was considering Painters Servant, Glamerdye, and Swirl the Mists to increase the range of colour-targeting spells (and including cards such as Gainsay and Flashfreeze)

Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor Rating: 0/10 This card looks incredibly strong for other formats, but Marvels Spider-Man doesnt have a particularly strong focus on artifacts

Blue and green are great protection colors, Nadu only costs three mana, and his ability ramps you - meaning you can easily tank a few removal spells

Danithas appearance as Squall might be enough to interest Final Fantasy VIII fans, but this card has never been a particularly popular or powerful piece of equipment support
