Aside from investing considerable effort in our own vineyards in close proximity to False Bay, our quest to find the perfect sites for each of the five varieties used in the blend led us from cooler sites to the rich, shale soils of Bottelary. The goal with each bottling of Faithful Hound is to produce a rich, complex wine that comfortably expresses old world
