This rod is in absolute mint condition, with the original plastic cover on the grip and comes from the Maxwell period. There is no sign of a reel ever contacting the seat either. Tan cane wrapped tan at guides, with brown with black accents at the ferrules and keeper. Slim cigar grip with a butternut spacer. Writing on shaft in Maxwells delightful script. Oxidized
