Antique Brass Strong Box with Alarm and Yale Lock, by Safety Chest Co. Here is a stunning antiqueHere is a very cool antique strong box originally manufactured by Safety Chest Co. out of New York , New York and patented in 1912. This safe features an alarm mechanism to ward off would be intruders. When I hooked a 9V battery up to this alarm, it worked, but seems to be stuck in a ringing state. No guarantees are made for the usability of the alarm mechanism. The brass box is in good condition with normal patina and wear. No key is included. The
