The dark red rose was hard to photograph to capture all the detail

Sticky beaks 2. Australian original art print. Picton I was given this leafAs seen in the colour and texture of rain streaks over a large rusty steel pipe found along the road on a semi trailer. I photographed the whole pipe from top to bottom and side to side. The texture of the streaks on the pipe caught my attention. It looked like reeds in a waterhole. Some of these photos became the starting canvas for another series of artwork. NOTE: A copy of the original photo is included and is attached to the back of the artmount.
