I know I just did a Mono Blue Spellslinger, but I had to talk about this new Izzet Spellslinger brew, which is really a Voltron deck in disguise

Look for cards that get value from a filled graveyard or that you can cast from the graveyard cheaper than from your hand

This was later vindicated with the commander decklists having been spoiled as I was writing this

But this spell isnt card disadvantage - and I do think that BLB will have a fair amount of aggression and tokens, and this spell may be just what a Blue deck needs to survive to the late game
