In this etude, Ill demonstrate how you can use your volume knob to shape your sound. To add extra 'heaviness,' Ive used Drop D tuning (DADGBE), which involves tuning the lowest E string down to a D note while keeping the rest in standard tuning. The tonality is D minor with a focus on the b6 note (Bb), and it occasionally incorporates elements of D harmonic minor.
