All original and in excellent condition throughout. Ribbed brass foot and duplicated MKII check. No cracks, chips, or dings. The reel comes with a nickel silver line guide that will never crack unlike the agate line guides found on many of these reels. The tension regulator works as intended. Nice strong check throughout its range.
