They often come with high power and toughness, making them formidable in combat, and many Beasts have abilities that enhance their strength, generate additional Beast tokens, or interact positively with lands and mana production

Maybe not first pickable in some packs, but its fairly resilient and efficiently costed, so you cant really complain too much about picking one up as a repeatable threat in your red-based draft/sealed deck

Its a ruthless approach to battle which aligns very well with the philosophy of Phyrexia, so Im not surprised to see those metal monsters take over the Growing Threat Commander precon for March of the Machine
