19th Century Rosewood Box Hand-Painted in Sheraton Revival Taste. 19th Century possibly by a virtually unknownA charming rosewood box, c. 1860, with later hand painted decoration in the Sheraton Revival taste, likely dating to the early 20th century. The decoration is very well done and depicts musical instruments with flowers and a central miniature of a courting couple. The box itself remains in a generally good condition throughout.
