The first is that it draws you a card, setting you up for potentially singing multiple songs in one turn
As a standard Magic set, Final Fantasy will introduce you to the broader rule set of Magic , including lots of abilities that you will see on non- Final Fantasy Magic cards from other sets (the Final Fantasy set does introduce some new unique mechanics on some cards, like Tiered, representing the various strength levels of magic spells from the video games, or Job Select, a variant of a prior Magic rule inspired by the Job systems of various Final Fantasy games)
If you count shapeshifters (I do not) that's a basis for a deck, there are ways to give people treasures and tokens at times, so there's a neat little deck to be made there
Several cards appear with multiple treatments, letting you collect the set in any way you please
When challenging isnt a good option, you can also play Let it Go to send strong characters or readied ones quickly to the Inkwell, facedown where they cant cause any more harm
