This matured in one large 1,800 liter barrel of Pfalz oak and used pice. Cherry and berry notes are immediately tart and juicy on the nose. This manages to be nimble and bright while already presenting a serious Pinot. Supple smokiness perfumes that slightly crunchy but certainly fine tannins while wonderful freshness makes this a joy.
