From Turkey and dating from the 1920s a very decorative Ottoman silk embroidered panel hand worked in red and black silks onto a fine cream linen ground. The hand worked embroidery features a wonderful stylised vase or urn full of flowers with a pair of birds. Hand embroidered in a variety of stitches onto a natural coloured cotton or linen it lends itself to being stretched and mounted or made into a beautiful pillow. Measurements. 56 x
