It's really fun (a great activity to do with kids!), you just submerge the bottom of the stone in water (but not the whole thing the top needs air), wait, and voila! Within a few weeks the roots start shooting out of the submerged end, and then green shoots start growing out of the top. You have a baby avocado tree! Brilliant!
