I can see why--the ability is a bit cumbersome to keep track of, and is a significant drawback to a card

The deck is reliant on specific cards so I'm running a much higher than average amount of tutors: Trinket Mage to find our busted mana rocks, Tribute Mage to find Throne of Geth simply the best card in the 99, Solve the Equation and Mystical Teachings to find our poison cards, and Ringsight to find any black/blue card with Venser out, plus gives him skulk to get around blockers

Ravenous Squirrel has a similar ability to your commander that lets it grow as you sacrifice artifacts and creatures, and it has a sac outlet that gives you 1 life plus a card

Its infinite with Spike Feeder and Kitchen Finks (alongside a sac outlet) but works as a synergy piece for lifegain, angel, and +1/+1 counter decks as well

And with a product all about traveling through space and time, its only fitting that the decks also have 10 new Planechase cards
