Id say some of the Japanese trophy types and other promos (Unikarp, etc) have become much more recognizable due to the increased media attention, but theyre not quite as recognizable yet as say Base Set Charizard or similar

Youre almost guaranteed an attack on turn two, since even if your opponent played their own one drop, they arent going to be able to block this when you have two mana up, and a 3/3 can stay relevant pretty much all game long, though it does have somewhat diminishing returns the later the game goes
Perpetually is unlikely to appear on paper cards, but the next Un -set will try to use stickers on cards so that they are altered perpetually. Theres a way, but its probably restricted to the casual and kitchen table realm
