If you want to cut that combo, Id recommend replacing the Charger with Bonehoard Dracosaur or Archangel Avacyn, two cards that nearly made the cut
I think Fantasy Flight Games should have stuck to their LCG model for this game because one of the things that really killed this game is the fact that you often needed 2-3 cards (with coinciding dice) in order to make a certain card playable, this was especially true about heroes so what you ended up with is a lot of cards and dice that you really couldnt put in a deck and remain reasonably balanced for the general power level of the game
We already have the aforementioned Tireless Tracker, but we can include Kami of Whispered Hopes as a creature Hardened Scales, which also becomes a massive source of mana for us
There are some solid Equipment in this department too, which can help our commander get big enough if we need to pivot to pure Voltron
Where the original card's token was a literal bear, it's quite funny to imagine a large, gay man casually coming to fight after a relaxing day soaking in the hot springs
