In late spring, tall spikes emerge clothed in shocking coral pink bracts, dangling greenish yellow bells beloved by hummingbirds. Best in full sun to part shade with sharp drainage; water regularly to establish, then reduce to occasional deep soakings, keeping it on the drier side through winter. USDA Zone 7b.
