This card is obviously good with any commander that has green in their color identity, but you can also use it to cast any legendary spell and prevent it from being countered

Their real edge comes from evoke (you can exile a card of the same color from your hand to cast them for free) which makes them perfect tempo tools that can swing a game before your opponent even untaps

In EDH it's impossible to play a 200+ card deck due to the rules of the format, but in its Standard format, Battle of Wits decks were somewhat competitive

It is only on this list for that fact with many other green cards offering this same return of bodies to cards and mana but with other perks as well

On top of that, the deck has a combo element that lets it close games out fast if need be
